Chania will be holding its 3rd Crete Marathon on 15 April 2018 in the historic center of old town. The race will start at the Public Municipal Market, along the old Venetian Harbour to end up following seashore road. For sure an unforgettable experience of the city for the numerous runners that will be present.
In addition to normal marathon, certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), the event will propose a 10 kms run, a 5 kms run, and a 2.5 km fun run, a favorite among families and kids.
Individual registrations and team entries (for groups of more than six runners) should be made by April 4. Applicants can register online or submit an application form in person at the local town hall. For more infos, check out marathon website.
