During this semi private day tour, you will be accompanied by a former journalist and restaurant chef (French and English speakingDuring this tour, you will meet a promising and dynamic winemaker who will guide you trough his winery and domain. You will have a chance to enjoy a private guided tour in the facilites, from wine alcoholic fermentation area to tanks, press machine, bottling facilities, and of course the cellar where wine is aging in oak barrels. Then, after a wine presentation, you will experience a unique private 5 different wines tasting from the most promising grape varietals of the island!Crete is the island of olive oil. Here you can find some of the best olive oils in the world. Partake in a sensational visit of a family estate and a traditional olive mill in the Protected Designation of Origin Archanes. The owners will lead you to their production area and introduce you to the fantastic world of extra virgin olive oil, from olive harvest to different ways to produce this traditional olive oil. This will be followed by some olive oil sample tasting where you will be learn how to really taste extra virgin olive oils. You will also have a chance to taste other local products. For who want to discover the traditional cretan cooking, we bring you to selected mezze restaurant for a real cretan lunch. Because a wine tour is not perfect without good food.This means: get prepared for plates and plates on the table. You will enjoy cold and warm selection of traditonal mezzes (small plates to share) as salads, grilled cheese, olive fritters, different meat and vegetable plates.A fantastic experience in a cosy, friendly atmosphere.Of course, best meals always go with good wines!We will continue our wine tasting there.
