It sounds a promising touristic year ahead for cretan island. As noticed on different fairy trades, booking for Crete are consistantly increasing. Held annually in Vienna, this years Ferien-Messe featured some 800 exhibitors from over 70 countries. According to local tourism and travel professionals including the Verkehrsbüro-Ruefa travel group, Greece was the star of the show, with pre-bookings for Crete marking an increase of 32.2 percent. TUI Group, meanwhile, said the rise in pre-bookings for Crete was at 45 percent, adding that it had planned to extend its offerings there.
