The talks will focus on cultural tourism development and promotion.Travel Massive Crete, in collaboration with the Cultural Association of Argyroupoli, the Parish of Argyroupoli, the Cretan Gastronomy Center, and the Municipality of Rethymno, will host a culture-inspired summit to mark the Orthodox Good Friday: Traditions: Powerful Tools for Rural Tourism Development. Participation is free. Friday, April 6, 2018, summit participants are invited to join the locals to mark this holy Orthodox day with the candles of Good Friday, the procession of the Epitaph and the mass of Good Friday, as well as traditional fasting Cretan dishes, prepared by the village women under the guidance of professional chefs and the Cretan Center of Gastronomy.
